Natural Instinct Bottle
Health & Safety Information:
- Always inspect each bottle before use.
- Replace as needed to ensure optimal feeding.
- Wash/sterilize after each use.
Product Instructions:
- Before first use, disassemble and ensure bottle and teat are thoroughly cleaned, sterilised and suitable for use. Do NOT use a metal cleaning brush/scrubber as this will damage the internal walls of the bottle.
- Ensure teat size is the correct age/flow for your baby – seeing sizing (NB, SS, S, M, X) embossed on the side of the teat.
- Fill kettle with fresh water and boil. Once boiled set aside for 20-30 minutes or until the water is approximately 40°C
- Pull teat through plastic green ring, using clean hands or tongs and place cap on firmly over it.
- Pour warm water into the bottle and fill to the measured level. Double check this is correct. Note: Always pour water in first before powdered formula to reduce chances of clumps and undissolved formula.
- Following manufacturer instruction and using provided scoop, measure out required amount of powdered formula and level it off either on the side of the tin, with a clean knife or with a provided leveler. Optional: Use Lil'Kooee's Silicon Funnel to eliminate chances of spillage or mess.
- Twist green ring with inserted teat onto the bottle. DO NOT twist on too tightly to ensure valve works correctly.
- Shake to swirl the bottle until all of the formula powder dissolves.
- Check the temperature of the formula mixture by placing a drop of the milk on the inside of your wrist. It should be just above body temperature, meaning it will feel warm/lukewarm but not hot. Note: If the formula mixture is still too hot you can run the bottle under cold running water by holding it with the lid on.
- Remove lid and offer to your child in a comfortable sitting position.
- After feeding, if there is any made-up formula leftover after an hour, always
discard. - Suitable cleaning & sterilising methods include; boiling, electric steamer, dishwasher top rack.
- Due to the risks of UV (degrading the quality of silicon) and microwave sterilising (will degrade material faster) we only recommend using these options for short periods.
