Our History
Our Founder Susie, established the concept and idea of Lil’Kooee in 2022. Her dream and desire, after working with parents for over 20 years, was to solve daily issues around infant and toddler bottle-feeding and sleeping. Having gained a wealth of knowledge and understanding about how a full tummy and sleep work hand-in-hand, Susie decided to design, create and manufacture high-quality feeding products that resolve these issues.
"With a passion for perfection, Lil’Kooee’s products have surpassed all safety expectations and are designed to support parents and caregivers on their journey to nurture and care for their little ones with unwavering confidence!” - Susie x

From our Founder Susie
Hi, I’m Susie Warner, Founder of Lil’Kooee.
With over 20 years of experience working closely with families through my consultancy business, Happy Baby Consultancy, I’ve spent my career helping parents navigate the often overwhelming world of 21st-century parenting. However, despite the noise, my focus has always been clear: support, simplify, and empower—especially when it comes to two of the most emotionally charged topics for new parents: feeding and sleep.
Of the two, feeding is the one that creates the most pressure and frustration. From the moment a baby is expected, “Breast is Best” is echoed through every corner of the maternal health system. And while breastfeeding has undeniable benefits, the reality for some is often more complex – personal choices, medical reasons, or simple practicality may lead parents to bottle-feed instead.
And that’s okay.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: Fed is Best. Every baby deserves to be nourished, and every parent deserves to feel supported, no matter the feeding method they choose.
Over the years, I have noticed a growing issue. In an attempt to “copy the breast”, bottle companies began flooding the market with wide-neck bottles and oddly shaped teats, promising a breast-like experience. But here’s the truth: a bottle is not a breast, and trying to mimic one often leads to more feeding challenges. The way babies breastfeed is a completely unique biological process; silicon or teat shape can’t replicate that.
However, if we rewind to "the good old days", most of us grew up feeding from a basic, narrow-neck bottle. And there's a reason for that. Without the areola to trigger a letdown, babies instinctively rely on the natural connection between their palate and tongue to feed, a reflex best supported by a narrow-neck teat.
The few narrow-neck bottle options available in Australia however, offer poor designs, questionable plastics, and impractical features like Y-cut teats (don’t even get me started on those!). While I have been recommending narrow-neck bottles daily for many years, I was always wishing there was a better option I could confidently stand behind.
So, I created one.
Working alongside a leading engineering team, I designed Lil’Kooee’s Natural Instinct Teat, featuring my custom-developed Airshield® valve, which ensures air stays in the bottle, helping reduce wind, discomfort, and common feeding frustrations. For the bottle, I chose PA (polyamide) a premium, crystal-clear material that’s lightweight and highly heat-resistant, helping to mitigate microplastic exposure due to heat sterilisation and everyday use. It’s more durable than glass and eliminates concerns around the current plastic bottles available on the market.
Lil’Kooee is proudly family-owned and operated, built on science, decades of hands-on experience, and a genuine care for babies and families. Everything we create is driven by a single goal:
To make feeding a safer and simpler experience for every parent and bub!
